Gloria is the team's pharmacologist and toxicologist — where others see a formulation, she understands how its ingredients behave in the body. That makes her invaluable for safety assessment, toxicological review and the evidence behind health and efficacy claims, and she leads much of our complementary medicines, food and cosmetic work. She holds a PhD in Toxicology and Pharmacology from UCLA, a Masters in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard, and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois.
