Our Team Dr. Graeme Haley - Director BSc (Hons), PhD, GradDipAdmin, FRACI, C Chem(A). Has over 25 year's international experience in the Cosmetics and Toiletries industry. He has consulted on formulating cosmetic and toiletry products while based in the United Kingdom, Australia and in Taiwan, to countries around the world including Switzerland, USA, Japan, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Scandinavia and Canada. He has assisted in preparing quasi- drug product, medicated product, and other therapeutic goods applications to governments in a number of countries across products ranging from creams, lotions, hair products, dental products and vitamin tablet and capsule preparations. An Industrial Chemist graduate and Engineering postgraduate of the University of New South Wales and a Business Administration postgraduate of the University of Technology in Australia. He was elected a Fellow the Royal Australian Chemical Institute in 1993. He is also a Chartered Chemist (Australia), and has been a member of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists since 1983. He has served on a number of Standards Australia Product and Devices Committees and is currently a member of the CS-042 Sunscreen Agents Committee and the HE-004 Denistry Committee. He is Scientific Advisor to the Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association of Australia. He was employed
by Unilever for twenty years with his last position with them as Technical
Director for
Unilever Taiwan. He has been a Director and Consultant with Engel
Hellyer & Partners for five years. Ray
Maio - Director Received his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney, followed by a Diploma of Law and was admitted to the Bar in 1985. He has worked for large multinationals (Johnson & Johnson) and local manufacturers in the areas of OTC products, cosmetics/ toiletries, food/ nutrition, household products and was involved in technical product and company launches both in Europe and Australasia. He has been involved in Production, R&D, QA, Environmental Management and Regulatory Services during his more than 30 years in the Chemical Industry. For 5 years, he was Technical Manager, European Region (based in Brussels, Belgium) for a multinational corporation where he was heavily involved in European and local member state product regulations. During that time he managed the areas of quality assurance, regulatory affairs, environmental and research and development. He is a former Chairman of the Technical Committees of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists and has served on numerous committees in Australia and Europe. He is also a member of ASMI and sits on various pharmaceutical committees. For more than 12 years he has been a Director and Consultant at Engel Hellyer & Partners assisting many companies with regulatory compliances with their product launches and advertising in Australia and overseas. Rooke - Director Received her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. She held the position of Pharmacist-in-Charge of the N.S.W Poisons Information Centre at the Children's Hospital whilst at Camperdown, Sydney. This role was in advising doctors, pharmacists, veterinarians, other health care professionals and the general public on all aspects of poisoning treatment and adverse effects of drugs and poisons. During her appointment she worked on various technical committees with the State and Federal governments. Sandie has worked
in hospitals, retail pharmacies and with major pharmaceutical companies.
She has also worked in the UK with a large consulting company and
has over 20 years experience in Engel Hellyer & Partners as a Consultant.
In Australia she has consulted to a large number of Australian and
overseas multinational companies in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and
insecticide industries. |
